Jaipur's men hammer AWAY!

Pink is no longer just for her and the pair harem pants in his wardrobe does not raise eyebrows anymore. Welcome to the era of new age dressing where boys do not shy away from flaunting 'girly' colours and it's women wear loose and comfortable boyish t-shirts, caps and shoes with ease and panache. "Fashion is all about breaking conventions and experimenting. We all know that men used to wear skirts in ancient times. I have designed some unisex clothes for my recent show in Hydera bad," says city designer Rohit Kamra. And the latest example of experimentation is men daring to wear harem pants. Though this new trend is yet to reach Jaipur in full force, but the trend is really gaining steam in metros like Delhi and Mumbai, informs fashion designer Himmat Singh Panwar.

"These pants enjoy a high popularity in the west. These pants originated in Germany, and that is why they are really popular in Europe," rolex watches he adds. But if men are exploring their feminine side, how can women lag behind? Known as a tomboy in her college, Alka Choudhary, a second year MBA student, says she has recently discovered the fun side of wearing men's loose t-shirts. "Initially, when I started wearing boys' clothes and caps, my friends and classmates made fun of my dressing style. But I choose to dress according to my comfort level," adds Alka.

Now, no one passes any comments or remarks on her dressing style. And why should they? After all, everyone has their Cheap Chanel Shoes own style statement. City businessman Devendra Pratap Singh, whose favourite colour is pink, says, "I can carry the colour really well. While some of my male friends will never try to wear pink, I get the most compliments when I wear this colour," says Devendra confidently. It seems that youngsters in the city echo his锟?sentiments.

Fashion designer Puja Arya says, "Anything锟?that is popularin the international market can be seen on the city's roads as well." She adds, "The experimental youth in the city wants to look different and does not mind trying out something new." So, let's forget those so-called gender constraints and celebrate

fashion together!
