RUGBY fans were out in force to meet the players and see behind the scenes of Gloucester Rugby for the club's Open Day.

Thousands headed to Kingsholm for the event and there were tackle bags, kicking and passing workshops and a chance to meet the squad.

Gloucester centre Henry Trinder said: "It's good to see everybody out and get the kids involved. It's a really good turnout, we get good backing every weekend Abercrombie & fitch throughout the season and it's nice to get involved."

The South Stand was open for people to take a look behind the scenes including visiting the dressing rooms and seeing the memorabilia and information which has been put on display as part of the Thomas wylde Handags Replica Gloucester Rugby Heritage Project. Don't Miss more pictures on Friday
